sparkling wine in place of water in cake mix directions
1 ½cupsheavy cream, cold
2Tablespoonsgranulated sugar
½cuppeach jam, or preserves
sliced peaches, to garnish
honey, for drizzling
Instructions
Follow boxed cake mix directions, substituting equal parts sparking wine in place of water.
To make peach whipped cream: Whip chilled heavy cream with 2 Tbsp granulated sugar and 2 Tbsp peach jam.
To assemble: Spread remaining peach jam between cake layers. Frost with peach whipped cream. Top with sliced peaches and honey drizzle.For additional sparkling wine flavor, brush sparking wine on cake layers before assembling.
