Take a sip of this Poison Apple cocktail this Halloween season. With this potent drink, you fall into a deep sleep just like Snow White.
Every year when Halloween rolls around, I can’t help but think of Snow White.
As a child I dressed up as every princess character imaginable– from all the Disney princesses to even a Princess Witch (this was nearing pre-teen years when my mom was running out of costumes to make me).
But out of all the princesses, dressing up as Snow White was probably my favorite.
Her fair skin, rosy cheeks, flowing dark hair, and sweet voice. She embodied what I considered beautiful as a kid.
(Which is totally different from the beautiful woman I imagine now: intelligent, strong, independent, sophisticated…)
Poison Apple Cocktail
Three ingredients. That’s all that stands between you and this super festive Halloween cocktail.
For my love of Snow White, I mixed up this cocktail inspired by my favorite drink at The Library Bar, the Washington Apple.
This drink is a tad sweet. It is quite tempting to drink lots of this stuff, but I warn you: it is potent. You may very well fall into a deep sleep just like Snow White.
Make into Halloween punch bowl cocktail:
You can easily multiply and scale this cocktail recipe for a crowd. Simply mix the three components ahead of time. Keep it chilled until party time.
Here are some other punch bowl recipe ideas: apple ginger punch, citrus rum punch, orange vanilla mulled wine.
Cheers! And Happy Halloween!
