Yay!  Look what arrived in the mail today.  I love Amazon and their super fast prime shipping.  I am very excited about this cookbook.  I would go to Boston just to try one of Joanne Chang’s famous sticky sticky buns.

Joanne Chang is a big inspiration for me.  Growing up in a predominately Asian community, I understand what it’s like being expected to go to college and pursue a practical money making career.  Joanne graduated from Harvard with a degree in applied mathematics and economics.  (Funny, because I started off at UCLA as a business economics major until I realized it was slowly killing me inside.)  It took her a couple years to finally drop everything and change fields.  I think it takes a whole lot of courage to make that grave of a change.  Most people only dream and wish for their lives to change.  It takes a big person to take action and make it happen.

I can’t wait to work my way through her book!  Watch out for goodies to come.
