Blueberry Mojito Float

Farewell summer.

Popsicles, ice cream, no-bake desserts. It was good while it lasted.

Halloween and the holidays are around the corner.

In the meantime, let’s savor the last bits of summer as long as we can.

I’ve been sharing boozy cocktail floats all summer long. These are cocktails with the addition of fruit sorbet!

Thus far, we have enjoyed:

Blueberry Mojito Float

Frozen Mojito

We’re using last week’s blueberry sorbet to make this super summery blueberry mojito float.

The sorbet turns this drink into a frozen mojito.

You can either float the blueberry sorbet scoops, or blend it all together for one slushy beverage.

The base begins like any other mojito. You’ll need fresh mint leaves, some sugar cubes, fresh squeezed lime juice, and light rum.

Voila! That’s it. You’re done. Sit back and enjoy.

Other fruity mojito options

Mojito pairs well with a variety of fruits.

Make a mango mojito using fresh or frozen mango. Other tropical options include: pineapple, coconut, passion fruit, or guava.

Use strawberries to make an ideal springtime mojito!
