It’s that time of the year. Gatherings, celebrations, and parties abound.
I’m all about winter festivities.
I love the cheerful spirit and camaraderie that comes alive during this time of the year.
And as the weather cools down, there’s nothing quite as comforting as enjoying a warm beverage while surrounded by the company of loved ones.
I’ve partnered with Pints and Plates to make holiday entertaining easy, fun, and delicious!
This season when friends over come, I’m serving them Redd’s Apple Ale Winter Warmer.
It’s a great drink that can be prepared ahead of time and assembled together at the last minute.
The recipe listed below serves two. Simply double, triple, or multiply the recipe to your party needs.
Start by mixing together chopped apples, cinnamon sticks, and Redd’s Apple Ale in a sauce pot.
Bring this mixture to a simmer to allow the apples to soften and the cinnamon to infuse into the liquids.
Ladle out the mixture into your serving glasses, add a generous dollop of whipped cream, and garnish with a cinnamon stick. That’s it!
If you’d like to make a large batch and allow guests to serve themselves, you can keep the mixture warm in a slow cooker.
Redd’s Apple Ale Winter Warmer is a mellow beverage that is flavorful and easy to drink.
Whether you’re planning a cozy night in for two or a festive celebration for 20, this is a great drink that pairs well with a variety of different foods.
