Asides from hot chocolate and non-alcoholic sparkling cider, what do kids and non-drinkers get?! In my house, they get brownie milkshakes. Chocolate Milkshake These fudge-like triple chocolate brownies are a family favorite at my house. Let’s take something tasty and make them even more decadent and delicious. We tend to eat half the batch, and save the rest to make this super rich milkshake! Traditionally, milkshake is made by combining ice cream and milk. Chocolate milkshake usually has chocolate syrup mixed in. Chocolate syrup is fine. But, when you want real deal chocolate flavor- this triple chocolate brownie is the answer. Blended Milkshake Add all the ingredients into a high speed blender. Process until smooth and creamy. Pour chocolate milkshake into serving glass. Top with whipped cream and garnish with desired toppings. Chocolate Rimmed Glasses For the ultimate dessert experience, rim the serving glasses with melted chocolate or caramel. Roll the sticky glass in rainbow sprinkles. Aristotle said, “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” That’s how I feel about this brownie milkshake. Individually, I love brownies, I love vanilla ice cream, and I love rainbow sprinkles. Put them all together and I’m head over heels. Sure, milkshakes taste great during the summer when it’s hot and humid outside. But I prefer to enjoy rich and decadent treats the end of the year. This is the kind of drink you savor during the holidays before new year diets and healthy eating commences. Cheers!
