Made with triple chocolate brownies and a hefty amount of vanilla ice cream, this brownie milkshake is a dream!
Asides from hot chocolate and non-alcoholic sparkling cider, what do kids and non-drinkers get?! In my house, they get brownie milkshakes.
Earlier this week, I made these fudge-like triple chocolate brownies. Alex and I could have happily devoured the entire pan, but we refrained and stashed half of the brownies. I figured we’d share with neighbors the following day.
That didn’t happen. It was cold and rainy. There was no way I was going to go outside. There was also no way that I was going to allow these brownies go to waste. I took out the blender and set to work.
Aristotle said, “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” That’s how I feel about this brownie milkshake. Individually, I love brownies, I love vanilla ice cream, and I love rainbow sprinkles. Put them all together and I’m head over heels.
Sure, milkshakes taste great during the summer when it’s hot and humid outside. But I prefer to enjoy rich and decadent treats the end of the year. This is the kind of drink you savor during the holidays before new year diets and healthy eating commences.
